It began on a rainy autumn day in 2024 – with playdough, a curious child and a moment that changed my life forever.

I'm Cristiana – a passionate care assistant, Aryan's mother, and for over 15 years I've felt completely at home in Tyrol. My roots are in Romania, my life has unfolded here – and somewhere in between, in this wonderful blend of two worlds, Maravie was born.

That autumn afternoon, Aryan and I were sitting at home, the rain drumming against the windows. We picked up some modeling clay—just to pass the time. He asked me to sculpt his favorite celebrity. And when I was finished, he looked at me with wide eyes and said, "Mom, you have talent. You have to do something with it." Family and friends said the same thing. And somehow… this time I really believed it.

I started researching, searching for professional materials, experimenting. Play-Doh became polymer clay – and an afternoon of playing turned into a true passion. Mugs with small, hand-modeled figures, each one unique, each one distinctive.

Then came the candles. Soy wax, beeswax, rapeseed wax – I tested everything, gave some to friends, and refined my techniques for months until I achieved the quality I envisioned. After that came Jesmonite – a sustainable, waterproof material for decorative pieces that are truly made to last.

But actually, my story begins much earlier. I never stopped learning. Not a year went by without a new course, a new skill, a new adventure. I was a competitive athlete and an acrobat. I immersed myself in the world of beauty – makeup, nail design, artificial nails, pedicures, massage. I learned programming, took IT courses. Every time I thought: maybe this is it. And every time I realized: not quite yet. I couldn't stop searching. And I didn't want to – because somewhere deep down, I knew I would find it eventually.

My mother – whom I lost far too soon – accompanied every step of my journey with love and pride. She knew me better than I knew myself. And she always asked me the same question, half smiling, half serious: “Cristiana, when will you stop searching? If you ever find your place in the world – tell me.”

Mom, I found him. Maravie is my answer.
